Creator of the show, Cian O’Clery has previously stated that the show isn’t scripted in any way, however it foes go through various edits to make the watching experience more streamlined.<\/p>\n
He previously addressed accusations that Love on the Spectrum was scripted after viewers accused him of deliberately mismatching cast members for drama.<\/p>\n
Speaking to\u00a0Reality Blurred<\/a>, co-creator of the show, Cian O\u2019Clery, explained: \u201cWe match-make as producers. That\u2019s just part of the process of the show because there aren\u2019t necessarily those services being provided. It\u2019s kind of, it\u2019s fun. I don\u2019t know if I\u2019m allowed to say that it\u2019s fun, but it kind of is.\u201d<\/p>\n He clarified that they’d “never mismatch people on purpose”, adding: “This isn\u2019t that kind of show. We\u2019re lucky enough that we\u2019re making a show that is meant to be positive. And we\u2019re not trying to find villains and manufacture conflict or drama where they may not be previously.\u201d<\/p>\n Other cast members have also spoken out about the scripted accusations, with Connor’s mum Lise claiming some people have accused Connor of being an actor who’s faking his autism.<\/p>\n She addressed the rumours on the\u00a0Sorry We\u2019re Cyrus podcast, saying: \u201cThe show was done to preserve everybody\u2019s dignity, which we love.
