Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian has revealed what Lamar Odom\u2019s dad demanded in return for not turning off his life support while he was in a coma, and it\u2019s quite shocking.<\/p>\n

In the Netflix documentary Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom<\/a>, Lamar opens up about his 2015 overdose, which left him fighting for his life. Lamar was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada after a heavy drug binge. He ended up in a coma and suffered 12 strokes and six heart attacks.<\/p>\n

At the time, he and Khlo\u00e9<\/a> were separated and in the process of divorcing, but it hadn\u2019t been finalised yet, so she was still legally his wife. Because of that, Khlo\u00e9 stepped in and took charge of his care while he was in hospital.<\/p>\n

However, things got complicated when it came to his father, Joe Odom. According to Khlo\u00e9, his dad suggested turning off Lamar\u2019s life support. She said, \u201cHis dad was there, I assume thought he\u2019s now the beneficiary to Lamar and Joe just said \u2018don\u2019t put him on life support, turn those machines off\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Khlo\u00e9 then explained how she responded in that moment. \u201cI remember walking in around that time and I kid you not it was a scene out of a movie, I was like \u2018sorry Joe, I\u2019m still his wife, what do you need?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Khlo\u00e9 claimed that Joe asked for money and trainers in return for stepping away. She said he wanted \u201c$100 and a pair of Nikes.\u201d And after she gave it to him, \u201che never came back.\u201d<\/p>\n

<p><p>She also explained why she felt she had to step in, despite their relationship being in a difficult place at the time. \u201cThis is my husband. Through sickness and health, I have to be there for him. I have to show up for him,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I was gonna do everything I could to make sure that he had the best fighting chance. I just trusted myself more than I trusted anyone in his circle.\u201d<\/p>\n
