Lamar Odom revealed in the new Netflix documentary, Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, that his kids weren\u2019t allowed to attend his wedding to Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian, but they\u2019ve now explained what really happened, and the real reason they skipped it.<\/p>\n

Lamar split from his ex, Liza Morales, after the death of their third child, Jayden<\/a>. A few years later, he started dating Khlo\u00e9 in 2009. They got engaged just weeks later in September, and then, only nine days after that, they tied the knot in a star-studded wedding in Beverly Hills.<\/p>\n

Everything happened so quickly that loads of people close to him weren\u2019t properly included. And out of everyone, the most important people missing were his kids, Destiny and LJ.<\/p>\n

In the Netflix<\/a> documentary, Lamar said, \u201cMy baby’s mother didn’t let [my children] come to my wedding. My own kids didn’t come to my wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, his children have now shared their side and revealed the real reason they didn’t want to attend Lamar and Khloe’s wedding.<\/p>\n

Speaking in the documentary, LJ explained he simply wasn\u2019t involved at all. \u201cI never even met her. I don\u2019t think he told me he was marrying her.\u201d<\/p>\n

His daughter Destiny also shared her perspective, and it sounds like she wasn\u2019t that comfortable with the situation anyway, especially with how public it all was. She said, \u201cI just didn\u2019t wanna be a show pony or anything like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cIf you wanna get married in front of, like, a hundred people and all these cameras, that\u2019s totally cool, and it\u2019s on you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their mum, Liza Morales, was also surprised by the whole thing. She said Lamar told her over text, and she genuinely thought he was joking at first. \u201cI really thought he was joking.\u201d<\/p>\n
