A celebrity gossip account, DeuxMoi, reported that they were seeing each other. This all came about two months after Amanda split from her husband of four years, Kyle Cooke.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" ><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/summerhousebravo\/comments\/1s8tfgk\/west_and_amanda_official\/\">West and Amanda OFFICIAL<\/a><br \/> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/Wide_Rutabaga_4723\/\">u\/Wide_Rutabaga_4723<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/summerhousebravo\/\">summerhousebravo<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Then yesterday, 31st March, Amanda and West finally confirmed everything with a joint statement on social media. They said they\u2019d \u201cseen the growing online speculation\u201d and, although things are still really new, they wanted to clear things up. They added that it was \u201cnever our intention to purposely hide anything.\u201d But they basically just needed a bit of space to figure things out privately first.<\/p>\n<p>They explained, &#8220;We\u2019ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows. And what\u2019s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>They added that they wanted to take time to fully understand what they were feeling before saying anything publicly. At the same time, they acknowledged that the situation might have affected other people, saying they \u201cnever wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>The Summer House cast was completely in the dark about it all<\/h2>\n<p>A source told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/what-the-summer-house-cast-knew-about-amanda-and-west-dating\/\">Us Weekly<\/a>, \u201cThis has been going on for at least a month and a half, but they kept it completely under wraps. No one had a clue, and the cast brushed off the rumours at first. The general consensus was that there was no way it could be true, but as time went on, neither of them denied it, and more evidence started to surface. It left everyone completely shocked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Before the news officially came out, another source claimed Amanda had been \u201chiding\u201d the relationship from \u201ceveryone.\u201d They said, \u201cNo one had confronted her yet. No one knew for sure yet, but the cast had suspicions. Kyle didn\u2019t fully know what\u2019s going on and didn\u2019t want to believe it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And no one even knows how long it\u2019s properly been going on. A third source said the cast \u201creally don\u2019t know the full extent\u201d of the relationship. \u201cThey only found out recently, around the time the rumours started swirling. It\u2019s all very new.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Unsurprisingly, loads of cast members, including Carl Radke, Lindsay Hubbard and KJ Dillard, were pretty confused by the whole thing. Meanwhile, Southern Charm star Austen Kroll, who\u2019s friends with a lot of them, even joked on Instagram, \u201cPasta and f*ck your friends exes are apparently so back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ciara Miller, who\u2019s actually Amanda\u2019s best friend and dated West back in 2023, hasn\u2019t said anything publicly yet, <a
