There’s a new batch of serious Queer Eye<\/a> drama happening between Karamo Brown and his co-stars, and it’s getting very heated very quickly.<\/p>\n

So, let’s see exactly what’s been going on for things to have gotten so bad.<\/p>\n

One week before the new season premiered, Karamo unfollowed and reportedly blocked three cast members<\/h2>\n

The Queer Eye drama started when\u00a0a Reddit sleuth<\/a> spotted that Karamo Brown no longer follows Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, or Antoni Porowski, despite previously following them on the platform.<\/p>\n

And it does seem like these three have been singled out, as he does still follow\u00a0Jeremiah Brent and Bobby Berk.<\/p>\n

Bobby also unfollowed Tan and Antoni almost immediately after\u00a0announcing his departure from the show last year<\/a>, so could this be Karamo\u2019s way of signaling he\u2019s on Bobby\u2019s side amid the lingering drama from his departure?<\/p>\n

And it seems the drama runs even more deep than it first appears, as someone else on Reddit pointed out that none of them are doing joint press interviews for the new season, which is a huge departure from previous seasons.<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cIt\u2019s likely that Karamo blocked JVN, Tan and Antoni. There\u2019s no trace of them at all in his IG. Unfollowing doesn\u2019t erase old comments and likes but blocking does. Karamo\u2019s IG has been scrubbed of all traces of the three.\u201d<\/p>\n

Karamo then skipped a joint press interview over fears of ‘getting bullied’ by his co-stars<\/h2>\n

Karamo Brown shockingly pulled out of a live Queer Eye cast interview with his co-stars.<\/p>\n

The news of his absence was revealed by Gayle King, who shared that Karamo Brown had decided to withdraw from the interview over fears of \u201cbeing bullied.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gayle explained: \u201cI hope everyone remembers the main theme I have tried to teach them over the past decade. Which is to focus on and to protect their mental health\/peace from people or a world who seek to destroy it; which is why I can\u2019t be there today.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that Karamo\u2019s assistant had explained that \u201che\u2019s worried about being bullied.\u201d<\/p>\n

He then shockingly admitted he’s felt ’emotionally and mentally abused for years’<\/h2>\n

Karamo personally saying in the video that he\u2019s \u201chas felt mentally and emotionally abused for years,\u201d\u00a0 and was advised by his therapist \u201cto protect himself and his peace by not attending.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cJust like the themes of this season, I\u2019m modeling what I believe is most important, which I want to remind you all, love yourselves and protect yourselves. That\u2019s why I\u2019m here at home and not there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite his clear drama with the rest of his cast members, he encouraged viewers to still watch the new season, adding: \u201cThe crew worked on it and did an amazing job. I want to shout out to the crew. I want to shout out to the fans. I want to shout out to the executives at Netflix.\u201d<\/p>\n

His co-stars reacted to his statement live on air, admitting they were ‘surprised’ to hear his claims<\/h2>\n

Antoni commented: \u201cI think, definitely a little surprised, but at the same time, look, we\u2019re so sorry that he\u2019s not here.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe fully support, I think as a collective unit, him taking care of himself and I think to echo what he\u2019s saying, we\u2019re here to honor the legacy of a decade, which is so wild to think about and all the heroes we\u2019ve helped. And to just really put a spotlight on the incredible heroes we have this season in D.C.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tan France added that Queer Eye \u201cwas never about us\u201d and is \u201cso proud\u201d of the work everyone has done on the show.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Van Ness commented: \u201cIt is so difficult \u2014 I think both of you can identify \u2014 when you\u2019re on a show and you\u2019re just relentlessly working, it is so difficult to center what you need and how to take care of yourself.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd he\u2019s been teaching people how to take care of themselves on Queer Eye for almost 10 years. And I\u2019m actually so proud of him for centering what he needs to do and taking care of himself.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not easy and that\u2019s not an easy statement to make and I\u2019m really proud of him for doing that. Obviously, we wish that he was here, but I am really proud of him for doing what he needs to do for what\u2019s best for himself.\u201d<\/p>\n
