I can’t escape seeing the Jersey Shore<\/a> cast members hitting out at MTV<\/a> production crews, despite giving them a platform all those years ago. It’s all coming out now, because there’s rumours swirling that the network has been cancelled for good, so we debunked them.<\/p>\n

No, MTV isn’t completely cancelled, but its parent company, Paramount, shut down several dedicated music-only channels in the UK and Europe at the end of 2025, like MTV Music, as well as the 80s and 90s channels, due to declining viewership and the rise of streaming.<\/div>\n

So, what’s Jersey Shore got to do with it? Well, there’s rumours that a show that was meant to be called Vegas Shore, but the Jersey Shore cast members apparently tried to block it and block the MTV remake, which later ended up being a dating show: Double Shot at Love<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been long enough that i can spill this tea but this show was supposed to be called \u201cVegas Shore\u201d and they were promised multiple seasons but *allegedly* a few og cast members complained to mtv.
