Meet the cooking maestro from James May: Oh Cook"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>James May: Oh Cook sizzled its way onto Amazon Prime on November 13th but just who is home economist and cooking maestro, Nikki Morgan?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier in 2020, James May starred in an alternative-style travel show as he ventured through the dramatic rural landscapes and bustling metropolises that make up Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, he&#8217;s back on Amazon Prime Video and is taking on a different challenge altogether, cooking, in James May: Oh Cook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like Our Man in Japan, however, James is not alone in his most recent endeavour as he&#8217;s joined by Nikki Morgan, a home economist and James&#8217;s cooking assistant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But just who is Nikki Morgan and has she worked in TV before? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/channel-4\/gbbo-how-to-apply-for-bake-off-2021-step-by-step-guide\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GBBO:<\/a><\/strong> How to apply for Bake Off 2021<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"James May: Oh Cook | Teaser Trailer | Prime Video\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_eWii2LE4GE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">James May: Oh Cook on Amazon Prime Video<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>James May: Oh Cook, a play on words from his usual exclamation, sizzled its way onto Amazon Prime Video on November 13th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seven-episode series follows the car show presenter as he takes on a very different challenge, cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In each episode, we join James and trusty assistant, Nikki, as we venture through a new genre of food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meet Nikki Morgan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Nikki Morgan is introduced in episode 1 of James May: Oh Cook and is bizarrely kept in James&#8217;s kitchen cupboard and brought out when the former Top Gear host needs some assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nikki Morgan is a home economist and has been working in TV for more than a decade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the cooking maestro&#8217;s career initially took her down a much different path and she&#8217;s worked in everything from financial services to a Sheffield theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nikki Morgan on TV<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Nikki&#8217;s start in the world of TV cookery came when she took on the role of assistant and events organiser to TV chef Jimmy Doherty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As such, Nikki was put in contact with some of the biggest and best TV chefs in the industry and she&#8217;s gone on to work on a number of TV programmes since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm3313639\/?ref_=tt_cl_t2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">IMDb<\/a>, Nikki Morgan&#8217;s first TV job came in 2009 when she worked on the BBC cooking chat show, <em>Something for the Weekend.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since then, Nikki has worked on programmes such as Sunday Brunch, Victorian Slum House, Paul Hollywood: A Baker&#8217;s Life and, of course, James May: Oh Cook. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>James May: Oh Cook is available to stream now on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Pub-Classics\/dp\/B08N3L3K54\/ref=sr_1_13?dchild=1&amp;keywords=james+may&amp;qid=1605292345&amp;s=instant-video&amp;sr=1-13\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Amazon Prime Video<\/a> after releasing on November 13th, 2020.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>James May: Oh Cook sizzled its way onto Amazon Prime on November 13th but just who is home economist and cooking maestro, Nikki Morgan?
