According to Hilary, her Mar-a-Lago membership wasn\u2019t something she chased, networked for, or manifested over cocktails. She says it came with the house.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1045\" data-end=\"1417\">Hilary explained on Heather McDonald&#8217;s podcast that when she moved to the area in 2005, she lived directly across the street from Mar-a-Lago. At that time, the neighbouring homes were offered memberships as part of the property deal.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1419\" data-end=\"1632\">In her words, every house on that street received a membership, residents just had to pay the dues. It wasn\u2019t about age, clout, or social positioning; it was about proximity.
