So, it turns out that yes that is the actual a** of Timothee Chalamet that gets a whacked during the spanking scene in Marty Supreme<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the scene, Marty asks wealthy power broker Milton Rockwell, played by Kevin O’Leary, to fund a tennis table rematch in Japan against his rival after he initially turned down Milton’s offer.<\/p>\n

However, before Milton agrees to finance the rematch, he asks for payback in the form of Marty being publicly spanked on the a** with a table tennis paddle in front of a crowd.<\/p>\n

When it came time to film the spanking scene for Marty Supreme, Timothee Chalamet was offered the option to sit out of the scene and use a stunt double, but he insisted on using the real thing.<\/p>\n

Kevin O’Leary told Variety<\/a>: “When it came time to whack him, there was a stunt ass. There was a double. Chalamet wouldn\u2019t do it. He said he\u2019ll do it himself. He didn\u2019t want some other ass immortalized.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018Look, man, your a** is gonna be blistered. Let the stand-in a** do it.’ He said, \u2018No.\u2019 I said, \u2018I can\u2019t hold back. I\u2019m gonna have to whack you\u2019re a**.\u2019 He said, \u2018I don\u2019t give a sh*t.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Kevin was supposed to use a fake paddle in order for the hit of the spanking not to be as intense, but it immediately broke after the first hit, meaning he had to use the real thing.<\/p>\n

He revealed that the scene “went on for hours” with the director demanding over 40 takes, which meant filming continued until four in the morning.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Leary was supposed to use a fake paddle to soften the blow, but the prop immediately broke on the first hit, requiring him to use a real one. He says shooting the scene \u201cwent on for hours,\u201d with Safdie demanding about 40 takes until 4 in the morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cJosh kept saying, \u2018Harder! Harder!\u2019 And the take where you see Chalamet\u2019s face explode. I really whacked his ass. That\u2019s what ended up in the movie.”<\/p>\n

He continued: “Josh was saying, \u2018You\u2019ve got to wind up harder.’ I was really whacking him.\u201d<\/p>\n
