Survivor<\/a> star Joe Hunter has set out on a mission to “uncover the truth” after revealing his sister Joanna’s death was ruled as suicide. He claims she was murdered, and his emotional tribute to his sibling became the most memorable moment on Survivor season 48.<\/p>\n

Losing his sister shaped his entire life long before Joe ever entered Survivor. He has always been really open about his sister’s death, claiming she was an alleged victim of domestic violence, and said: “The day I got the news will always be etched in my brain.”<\/p>\n

Joe will be appearing on a new episode of 48 Hours on CBS on Saturday December 13th. He claims in the trailer: “‘Your sister is dead.’ I knew, right then, he had taken her life. From that moment on, my life changed forever. I feel my sister when I see something beautiful.”<\/p>\n
