He opened up about how he and Jessi Draper are moving forward with their relationship.<\/p>\n<p>The Mormon Wives star spoke about feeling emasculated prior to the cheating scandal with Marciano Brunette. But, as far as the reality of Jessi and Jordan&#8217;s parenting and working roles go, it&#8217;s actually been a major issue in their relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan explained to Nick: &#8220;One of the things the show doesn&#8217;t really touch on is, I was very successful before this. I used to work for my friend&#8217;s solar company out here in Southern California.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He added: &#8220;I made really good money, but it required me to spend 15, 16 weeks a year here, which is not very much considering how good the money was&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ziprecruiter.com\/Salaries\/Solar-Manager-Salary--in-California\">Zip Recruiter<\/a>, a solar manager&#8217;s salary in California is estimated at around $100,000 per year.<\/p>\n<p>These days, the two clearly enjoy the lifestyle JZ Styles and Mormon Wives have earned them. <a href=\"https:\/\/thetab.com\/realityshrine\/2025\/05\/20\/it-turns-out-these-secret-lives-of-mormon-wives-cast-members-have-insanely-rich-families\/\">Jessi&#8217;s net worth<\/a> is estimated at $1.65 million, which is over 10 times more than what Jordan may have been earning in solar.<\/p>\n<h2>He struggled with Jessi having huge success<\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF; But he also said he struggled to be with a partner who was doing so well &#8211; and still is&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jessi began to have so much success even before the show that it didn&#8217;t matter how much money I was making, it didn&#8217;t make sense for me to be gone and to leave her while she&#8217;s building an empire when she needs help raising the kids. I think that there was some resentment, having to give up my career working with my friends while she could go build this empire.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When Nick asked: &#8220;Why didn&#8217;t you feel like you were building this together?&#8221; Jordan explained: &#8220;She made it clear that it was not something we were building together, and I tried to actually do that&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He added: &#8220;She didn&#8217;t want to build together, and it made me feel like a piece of sh**.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Did you guys make that decision as a couple for you to stop working?&#8221; asked Nick.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan replied: &#8220;For sure. We did. And, as hard as that was, I think what I was looking for in that moment was appreciation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He also said he &#8220;never thought he&#8217;d become a reality TV personality&#8221; and that &#8220;the birth of DadTok came off the heels of the affair.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jordan continued: &#8220;I didn&#8217;t do much social media until the affair happened&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Because of DadTok, Jessi and I, I&#8217;ve actually been doing some pretty cool brand deals. As far as financially, it helps, but Jessi&#8217;s a killer business person,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>When Jessi came onto the Viall Files episode, she commented how she &#8220;gave Jordan a pretty nice life.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He responded: &#8220;I used to have my dream job with people I loved working with.
