He received a lot of backlash after a clip appeared to show him calling being part of the LGBTQ+ community a &#8220;fad,&#8221; which was apparently edited wrongly.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s now keeping his appearance on season nine, where he got engaged to Annie before calling things off just weeks later, in his rearview mirror. One person recently told him, &#8220;Put LIB in the rear view mirror onward. Your life is far more interesting. More please.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Nick replied, &#8220;I feel more free than ever. Life is good!&#8221; He&#8217;s been in the air most of the time since the season came out, from driving planes to attempting to finish visiting all 58 of Colorado\u2019s highest peaks. It comes just three weeks after he finally spoke about his sexuality.<\/p>\n<p>He exclusively told <a href=\"https:\/\/thetab.com\/2025\/11\/12\/exclusive-love-is-blinds-nick-addresses-his-sexuality-for-first-time-after-those-comments\">The Tab<\/a>: &#8220;Regarding the scene in the garage, I\u2019m confident enough in my own sexuality to make jokes like the \u2018size queen\u2019 line. He\u2019s since apologised for these comments on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUsing sexuality as an insult, i.e., \u2018get out of the closet\u2019, says more about the person making the comment. It\u2019s a hateful way to tear someone down. I hope we can live in a world where everyone can love freely.
