Well, Selling The OC Alex and Ian briefly dated only a couple of years ago, so how exactly did the pair meet?<\/p>\n

As it turns out Alex’s mother, Kathy, actually dated Ian’s father and so he brought his son over for Christmas, with that being their first meeting.<\/p>\n

The pair then became friends before realising they wanted to be in a relationship together.<\/p>\n

However, according to Tudum<\/a>, their initial relationship started just before Tyler came on the scene, so perhaps he had a part in breaking them up the first time.<\/p>\n

As for why Ian Young and Alex Hall split after the most recent season of Selling The OC, she announced on her story: “It\u2019s been a complete clusterf*ck, I moved to Temecula with an open heart but some things came to light that did not align with what I want mine and my kids future to look like.<\/p>\n

\u201cI no longer have my home in Sam Clemente and all my furniture and belongings are currently in a storage facility and the kids and I are in a short term rental in Dana Point.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are looking for a new home but haven\u2019t found one yet. Sometimes you can have the best intentions but reality doesn\u2019t play out the way you imagined it would.\u201d<\/p>\n
