Another couple has bitten the dust, as Joe decided to call of his engagement to Madison on Love Is Blind<\/a>, to the surprise of absolutely nobody.<\/p>\n

I think we could all see the split coming from more than a mile off, I mean literally sprinting out of your wedding tuxedo fitting inside exactly the most positive sign…<\/p>\n

However, in an interview with Us Weekly<\/a>, Joe has opened up about the real reason he decided to end things with Madison before they even made it to the Love Is Blind wedding altar.<\/p>\n

Joe explained that at the start he and Madison had a “great” connection in the pods together, admitting that the “more it went on, I could see it working out.\u201d<\/p>\n

But things started to take a turn as the pair started fighting over why Madison felt so confident in their relationship, with Joe recalling: “It seemed Madison was all in and what you would want in a person. I, on the other hand, had some concerns, nervous, scared, anxious. I never saw that coming from Madison.<\/p>\n

“I think it scared me seeing that as well, and I know she wanted to keep on with the experiment, go through, get as much as you can out of it, in the way of, \u2018Is this my person?\u2019 More time for discovering that. I think there was a certain breaking point for me where I couldn\u2019t go on any longer.\u201d<\/p>\n

And that moment came exactly when Joe was trying on tuxedos, as he admits that during that scene he “definitely crashed out.”<\/p>\n

He opened up more about what he was thinking in that moment, explaining: “‘Why am I going through these motions if I have in my head that, ultimately, I\u2019m not going to be able to say yes on that wedding day?\u2019<\/p>\n

“It felt a little faulty on my part, and I could have handled it better. That\u2019s the story of my experiment on TV. It just felt disingenuous on my part to even be there, if I didn\u2019t think we had enough time to get there or if I knew this wasn\u2019t my person.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for how long Joe had been feeling that a relationship between him and Madison wouldn’t work after Love Is Blind, he admitted: “In simple terms, I had these emotions that I was aware of, and I was trying to mask them with other things.<\/p>\n

“I was trying not to be in the moment and feel what I was feeling, because it is super emotional, high pressure, anxiety ridden, and I just couldn\u2019t do it anymore. The light bulb definitely came up, like, \u2018Why am I still here?’\u201d<\/p>\n
