Since its debut, Love Is Blind has been as much a social experiment as it is a reality TV<\/a> show. The premise is pretty simple but it’s rarely plain sailing for participants. Single people date and even get engaged without ever seeing each other, then figure out whether love can survive once the cameras stop rolling.<\/p>\n

Over multiple seasons, some couples have defied expectations and built lasting relationships, while others have crashed and burned spectacularly.<\/p>\n

Let’s sift through the show’s icons, and take a look at which couples held up despite emotional fireworks and drama, and which relationships were built on foundations strong enough to survive life out of the pods<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is the toughest spot. Although two couples got married by the end of season two, neither marriage lasted.<\/p>\n

Iyanna and Jarrette, and Danielle and Nick<\/a> both married in June 2021. While they all said ‘I do’ on the Netflix<\/a> show, they were headed for splitsville a year later.<\/p>\n

Because no couple from the season remains together today, it earns the sad label of ‘total fail’.<\/p>\n

The drama was high, but the follow-through was nonexistent. For anyone looking for enduring love stories, this season offers little beyond spectacle.<\/p>\n

6. Season five<\/h2>\n

Season five had a low overall success rate. Only one couple from season five, Lydia Velez Gonzalez and Milton Johnson<\/a>, had a marriage that went on to last years post-show. The rest either broke up before the altar or shortly after.<\/p>\n

While there was plenty of drama, the number of lasting relationships was small. That gives season five a place just above total failure, but still far from what folks hoping for true love want.<\/p>\n

5. Season seven<\/h2>\n

Season seven had more hopeful signs than season five, but still came with its share of heartbreak.<\/p>\n

Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans are one of the rare couples from that season still together, having been one of the first to get engaged and later married.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis<\/a> ended their marriage after about a year. So season seven ends with one strong success, but cannot match some of the earlier seasons in overall lasting relationships.<\/p>\n

4. Season eight<\/h2>\n

Season eight introduced a fresh batch of hopefuls, but only one couple made it to the altar and stayed together: Taylor and Daniel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Their relationship stood out for its sincerity and emotional maturity, and their connection seemed to strengthen once the cameras stopped rolling.<\/p>\n

While they were the only lasting couple from the season, their stability earns season eight a solid mid-level ranking. It’s proof that quality can sometimes beat quantity when it comes to lasting romance.<\/p>\n

3. Seasons three and six<\/h2>\n

Season three produced Alexa Alfia and Brennon Lemieux, a couple who not only married but are still together and have since welcomed a child. However, other season three couples, like Colleen and Matt<\/a> or Raven and SK, did not last.<\/p>\n

Season six likewise saw only one couple, Johnny McIntyre and Amy Cort\u00e9s, still together after the altar. While that is fewer in quantity, the fact they remain strong gives the season a more positive light than seasons five or two. These seasons are comfort zones of “there is hope, but not many.”<\/p>\n

The original season set the bar pretty high. Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton<\/a>, and Amber Pike and Matt Barnett got married, and both couples are still together many years later.<\/p>\n

That durability earns season one a place near the top of the ranking. It\u2019s not perfect, there were painful moments, but if you want reliability out of this format, season one delivered impressively!<\/p>\n

Topping the list is season four, which arguably offers the most successful mix of romance, emotional honesty, and endurance.<\/p>\n

Multiple couples from that season are still together, including Bliss and Zack, Kwame and Chelsea, and Brett and Tiffany<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These couples haven\u2019t just stayed together, either, they\u2019ve built fully-fledged lives. We’re talking children, homes, and long-term commitment. Season four shows both that love can survive the pods format and thrive afterwards.<\/p>\n
