Nick Thompson<\/a>, who starred in Love Is Blind<\/a> season two, is urging the new season nine cast to make a stand against Netflix<\/a>. He’s now made a video urging them to take a stand against the show, as the co-founder of the UCAN foundation, as part of a long case he’s been fighting.<\/p>\n

Back in April, Nick told us, \u201cThey have a lack of autonomy while filming because of labour laws. We should be classified as employees instead, which would give us many of the rights that contractually give us the ability to negotiate pay and the ability to get overtime pay.”<\/p>\n

He also said they should have mandated breaks and that he “helped file a case against them in December, which labelled us as employees.\u201d Basically, Nick is still passionate about making sure they are being treated fairly, and tells them, “You have all the power right now.”<\/p>\n
