Ever since Taylor Swift released her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, there were rumours abuzz that Actually Romantic was a diss track about Charlie XCX, however this might not be true.<\/p>\n

As it turns out, Actually Romantic might actually not be about Charli XCX at all, but none other than Taylor Swift’s nemesis, Kim Kardashian<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, according to Page Six, there’s lyrical “proof” that the song could actually be completely about Kim Kardashian, or at the very least reference her alongside Charli XCX.<\/p>\n

As for the evidence? Well, in 2018 Kim posted about Valentine’s Day, and included a picture of various post it notes with celebrities names on them, include one for Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n

She wrote in her caption: “I decided for this Valentine\u2019s Day everyone deserves a Valentine. So I\u2019m going to send them to my lovers, to my haters, to everyone that I think of because it\u2019s Valentine\u2019s Day after all.”<\/p>\n

And as it so happens, in the new Taylor Swift song she includes the lyric: “But you keep sending me funny valentines \/ And I know you think it comes off vicious \/ But it\u2019s precious, adorable.”<\/p>\n

And because of this, some people are convinced that Actually Romantic is about Kim Kardashian rather than Charli XCX. However, given that that seems to be the only reference to Kim in the song, it’s still a lot more likely to be about Charli.<\/p>\n
