Patrick and Kacie had one of the most awkward breakups ever seen in Love Is Blind history, mainly because Kacie did the worst job ever of calling off their engagement.<\/p>\n

As such, Patrick didn’t actually realise she was breaking up with him and instead thought she just wanted to quit the show. It was uncomfortable all around.<\/p>\n

Everything seemed to be going great for the pair, until they met in person. And now Kacie has revealed exactly what caused her to split up with Patrick on Love Is Blind.<\/p>\n

She told Tudum<\/a>: “He did feel like more of a stranger to me. If we had any shot of it actually working out, I needed to do it off camera and wanted to date him slowly at our pace at home in Denver. It was hard. I remember being very emotional about it, and I felt bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Patrick explained that he didn’t feel too anxious about their conversation in the hotel lobby, recalling that Kacie told him she wanted to leave Love Is Blind and try their relationship on the outside.<\/p>\n

He added: “\u201cI\u2019m not even thinking that she\u2019s breaking up with me, really. I didn’t really know that’s what was happening.\u201d<\/p>\n

And despite the fact it very obviously was a breakup, Kacie is STILL maintaining that their conversation wasn’t a breakup, and I’m so confused.<\/p>\n

She explained: “I really wanted to talk to him more, pursue going on dates, and get to know each other on a more physical level to see if this was really real.<\/p>\n

“I’ll never be able to explain the feeling of, you think you’re really in love with this person, and then you meet them, and you’re like, \u2018Oh wow, I actually don’t know this person.\u2019 I did crash out a little.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kacie also insisted that despite saying on camera that she didn’t think her attraction to Patrick was going to grow further, she insists she didn’t split up with because of his appearance.<\/p>\n

She added: “He\u2019s a handsome guy. It was more about him being a stranger in my arms than it was what he looks like.\u201d<\/p>\n
