During the pod episodes of Love Is Blind, Anna shockingly decided to quit the show, with he connection Blake following suit soon after and leaving as well<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the episode there isn’t any explanation given for why Blake or Anna decided to leave, however some viewers have speculated that Blake left to pursue Anna on the outside after discovering she’d quit.<\/p>\n

However, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, Blake set the record straight on why he left Love Is Blind and whether Anna had anything to do with it.<\/p>\n

He also recalled the moment when he found out Anna had quit to Tudum<\/a>, saying: “At that point in the experiment, Anna and I hadn\u2019t talked about a proposal or an engagement. It certainly felt like we weren\u2019t close to that.<\/p>\n

“We certainly had a good bond and friendship. I don\u2019t want to speak for her, but I think she made the right decision for herself at the moment, and I\u2019m proud of her for doing that.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for whether he left Love Is Blind because of her, Blake quickly shut down any speculation, explaining: “No, I was really mostly concerned with where my head and my emotional state was at the time.<\/p>\n

“Really, I would say Anna didn’t factor into my decision. I really was just making the right decision for me at the time.”<\/p>\n

As for why Blake ultimately decided to quit, he admitted it was combination of the rushed timeline alongside the fact he didn’t think he wanted to get engaged to any of his connections.<\/p>\n

He revealed: “Going into the experiment, everyone is keenly aware of how condensed the timeline is, and that is something I think was always in the back of my mind during the entire experiment.<\/p>\n

“But as the days ticked on, it became pretty clear that a proposal wasn’t really in the cards for me for any of my connections.”<\/p>\n

He continued: “I realised it’s probably best if I remove myself from the experiment. It was communicated, and it should be, that if we’re not working towards a proposal, you shouldn’t be there.<\/p>\n

“And I really took that to heart. In hindsight, would I go back and maybe see things out a little differently, kind of think through how it might unfold? Yes. But I think ultimately I made the decision that was best for me.”<\/p>\n
