When it comes to Love Island, romance doesn\u2019t always end when a contestant leaves the villa. And in the case of Love Island Games\u2019<\/a> Mert, it seems absence has only made the heart grow fonder.<\/p>\n

After being dumped from the show, the Turkish Islander decided to pour his heart out in a handwritten note to Lucinda and then shared the whole thing on Instagram for the world to see.<\/p>\n

The gesture has everyone divided, with some swooning at the grand declaration and urging people to vote Lucinda out next, while others\u2026 well, let\u2019s just say they’re cringing to high heaven right now.<\/p>\n
