The pair decided to split four months after they split the $100k prize together, with Justine saying at the time about their winnings: “I wouldn’t have been able to get here without Jack. My family could really use this.”<\/p>\n

Jack posted a statement confirming his split from Justine after Love Island Games, writing: “BIG love to everyone who supported me and Justine in Love Island Games. Winning together was actually mental.<\/p>\n

“Feels like ages ago now lol but just wanted to say we are keeping it as friends. It’s all love and vibes between us.”<\/p>\n

Before the two announced they were no longer together, they had previously explained how hard being long distance was for them.<\/p>\n

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, Justine admitted: “Our current relationship status is \u2018doing our best\u2019. I feel like we live so far away from each other, so right now we\u2019re just 100 per cent doing our best.\u201d<\/p>\n

In another interview with TV Insider<\/a>, when the two were asked what their current relationship status was, Jack explained that they were “just trying to navigate being separated by so much distance.”<\/p>\n

Justine added: “We\u2019re definitely trying our best. We\u2019re logical thinkers. We\u2019re realistic about what our situation is, but we also can\u2019t deny the connection that we have, so we\u2019re just doing our best.”<\/p>\n
