Katie took to Instagram to share her stance following the political activist&#8217;s death. But, since she first shared her thoughts, she&#8217;s gone on to issue a lengthy statement. Clarifying her opinion, Katie wrote that she is &#8220;&#8230;grieving for his wife and children&#8221; after initially resharing the words: &#8220;&#8230;we don&#8217;t mourn monsters.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>More reality TV stars, including Real Housewives and <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/2025\/09\/15\/khloe-kardashian-breaks-silence-on-charlie-kirk-shooting-with-a-controversial-message\/\">Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/a>, have broken their silence following Charlie Kirk&#8217;s murder. But, we also do not mourn monsters. Those two things can and do coexist. Katie wrote: &#8220;We should settle our differences with discussion, not with violence&#8230; I take no joy in Charlie&#8217;s death&#8230; I am sorry if anyone feels hurt by what I said&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/2025\/01\/21\/all-the-former-real-housewives-who-either-cut-ties-or-have-ongoing-drama-with-bravo\/\">Bravo<\/a> star concluded that &#8220;gun violence is an American tragedy&#8230; so is our inability to disagree with civility.
