She&#8217;s now been forced to apologise as a result, and claims she &#8220;lost the plot in the message&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>She started off by saying it was going to be an &#8220;extremely hot take on Pilates&#8221; and how she&#8217;d noticed people talking about how the sport has a &#8220;proximity to whiteness&#8221;. This is Bottega. I want you to think the same way about Pilates.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;People worked generations to preserve this method of exercise. Just training an instructor takes 500 hours minimum. Nothing about pilates is giving cheap. Some of the most successful people I know are POC. Raven noooo.&#8221; She has apologised and thanked people for holding her accountable, saying &#8220;being a black instructor in this space is what motivates her&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Raven maintains that her purpose is to get the sport out there &#8220;with as little barriers as possible&#8221; and said: &#8220;I missed the mark. This is definitely not a &#8216;woe is me&#8217; video, I have always been open to feedback.
