Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany rose to fame on their TLC reality TV show that focused on their lives, alongside appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show.<\/p>\n

However, the pair were subject to backlash when they revealed that one of them had got married in 2021, whilst the other remained single.<\/p>\n

The pair were born in 1990 and share one body, with one of them controlling the left side of the body and the other the right.<\/p>\n

Their family had previously spoken out about whether Brittany and Abby would find husbands one day, with their father opening up about the topic in a 2001 interview with Time.<\/p>\n

He explained: “Why not? They’re good-looking girls. They’re witty. They’ve got everything going for them, except they’re together.”<\/p>\n

In March 2024 it was revealed in records obtained by Today that Abby and her husband Josh had secretly got married in 2021, however legally Brittany was still single and not in a relationship with him.<\/p>\n

The pair faced backlash about their decision to get married, with the twins clapping back in a video, saying: “The internet is extra LOUD today. We have always been around.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whilst Abby is happily married, and is rumoured to have welcomed a newborn baby<\/a>, Brittany has been vocal about keeping her relationships private.<\/p>\n

She previously explained: “The whole world doesn’t need to know who we are seeing, what we are doing and when we are going to do it. But believe me, we are totally different people.”<\/p>\n
