It’s been a whole year since KATSEYE starred in Netflix<\/a>‘s Popstar Academy series, and with it came a whole lot of negative reviews. There’s no doubt it was entertaining, but people think it ruined the girl group’s entire reputation because of the show’s editing.<\/p>\n

Basically, for people who have followed the group for years, they feel anyone who became a fan of KATSEYE from the show will have certain narratives they feel wrongly represent them. One person said that Netflix viewers will think Lara and Sophia are mean girls.<\/p>\n

They added that people will assume “Manon is untalented and doesn\u2019t deserve to debut, the girls don\u2019t like each other and the company uses the girls for drama.” However, the common discourse is that this isn’t necessarily the case, and that the documentary skewed it.<\/p>\n
