Juliana has spoken out about her split from Grant Ellis for the first time, after she accepted his proposal during The Bachelor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Following weeks of speculation, the pair confirmed they’d decided to part ways, and now Juliana has broken her silence about the incident during an appearance on the Trading Secrets<\/a> podcast.<\/p>\n

She explained: “It\u2019s so odd because I think I was having so much angst about the break up being announced because I felt oddly embarrassed on the sense that on my family\u2019s end, we take marriage very seriously and \u2014 just before even filming \u2014 I had this goal like, \u2018I just want to make my family proud of who I am when they watch it back.\u2019 So that was really hard for me.”<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cOf course, they didn\u2019t judge me and they didn\u2019t find it embarrassing, but that was what I struggled with the most. I really didn\u2019t care what anybody else thought. I was just like, \u2018I really hope my family\u2019s not upset with me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Juliana admitted that whilst watching her season of The Bachelor back, she’d often become frustrated with Grant.<\/p>\n

She recalled: “There were times in conversations that I watched when he would say certain things, I would get more upset with him because I\u2019m like, \u2018Do you understand the weight of what you just said to that person?\u2019<\/p>\n

“More as an accountability than being flustered because I knew that he was going to be doing that when I was filming and I can\u2019t be upset with something that I agreed to do. So I reminded myself of that a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

She elaborated that the split was mutual, saying: “After the initial conversation \u2014 we had a lot of conversations, it made sense for the both of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also revealed where the two stand today, saying they’re on good terms, adding: “I want to see him succeed and I will always support him. I think he\u2019s a really great, genuine guy and I can tell he\u2019s supporting me from afar.”<\/p>\n
