I don’t know about you, but I’m already counting down the days until Love on the Spectrum season four finally starts.<\/p>\n

And we’ve been given a hint of what’s to come next season, as Deadline<\/a> interviewed creator of the show, Cian O’Clery, to get the inside scoop on what viewers can expect.<\/p>\n

The interviewer asked whether we’d be seeing a return of the beloved Sonia Wiggins<\/a>, with Cian responding: “I don\u2019t know what I can really say.<\/p>\n

“We will continue to explore and tell the stories of some of the people that audiences have grown to love, as well as introducing new people.<\/p>\n

He continued: “And I think that\u2019s always what we are interested in doing is always introducing new people and keeping that conversation going about the diversity of the spectrum, as well as telling some of these stories of people we\u2019ve gotten to know who are really developing a lot in terms of their dating and their relationship lives.<\/p>\n

“And who knows, there could be some big steps in future stories in terms of where their love and dating lives go.” I don’t know about you guys but I have a strong feeling that we might get to see Abbey and David get engaged this season…<\/a><\/p>\n

Cian was also asked about how he and the team decide what we do and don’t get to see during Love on the Spectrum.<\/p>\n

He revealed: “It\u2019s just the process of editing, and that\u2019s where we\u2019ve got incredible editors that we work with on this series that I\u2019ve worked with, a couple of them, for a long time on a lot of different shows.<\/p>\n

“We have great editors and storytellers and, of course, myself and Karina [Holden] and everybody who is also involved in that process.<\/p>\n

He continued: “It\u2019s about figuring out how to tell the best story that engages the audience and represents that person\u2019s truth and experience on their dating journey.<\/p>\n

“We do all of our post-production back in Australia. I\u2019ve got three editors working already, and I\u2019m on my last shoot day here on Season four.<\/p>\n

“Diving deeper into the edit and putting all the stories together is a fun part of the process, but also a lot of stress and very rewarding.”<\/p>\n
