TV host and comedian Anthony Anderson has broken his silence following a resurfaced clip of him telling a then 17 year old Lindsay Lohan that he “likes them young.”<\/p>\n

The clip resurfaced following the death of Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> as Anthony Anderson temporarily filled in for Sharon Osbourne on her show whilst she was away.<\/p>\n

Anthony sat down with a 17 year old Lindsay Lohan, who was becoming one of Hollywood’s rising stars after starring in Freaky Friday.<\/p>\n

In the resurfaced clip, Anthony asked Lindsay what it was like to live with fellow Disney star Raven-Symon\u00e9, before saying that the two were “both beautiful women.”<\/p>\n

He then asked the actress: “What gentleman will be at the new pad?” with Lindsay replying: “No one. No, I don’t have a boyfriend.”<\/p>\n

The host turned to the audience, saying: “Hmmm. She\u2019s single! But looking.” Lindsay explained: “I\u2019m illegal for people that are old”, looking toward those in the crowd.<\/p>\n

Anthony Anderson continued, saying: “Well, you know some men like them young. We ain\u2019t gonna mention no names but, you know, I\u2019m one of them.”<\/p>\n

Anthony’s team released a statement to Entertainment Weekly<\/a> after the video resurfaced, stating: “This interview was clearly intended as comedy.<\/p>\n

“He regrets if the humour was in poor taste and maintains the utmost respect for Lindsay. Any implication to the contrary is both inaccurate and potentially defamatory.”<\/p>\n
