Huda has revealed that she almost drowned in the Love Island USA<\/a> pool during the finale, and now it makes more sense why she wasn’t spotted swimming in it before.<\/p>\n

During the Love Island USA finale, it’s standard for the remaining couples to jump in the pool together, however Huda admitted in an interview with Elite Daily<\/a> that her choice of outfit wasn’t exactly the best for such an occasion.<\/p>\n

She revealed: “Oh my God. I was f*cking drowning. I swear to God, that dress heavy as f*ck. I was like, \u2018You guys, I’m going to sink.'”<\/p>\n

It didn’t exactly help that Huda doesn’t know how to swim, as she explained all she knows how to do is “doggy paddle” and at just 5’3 the pool was a lot deeper than she is tall.<\/p>\n

Luckily for Huda, her Love Island USA co-stars Nic and Pepe helped to rescue her from her near death experience, as she recalled: “I was trying my best, like, \u2018Jesus, give me a break.\u2019 I was over here trying to doggy paddle, keep my head above the water, try to f*cking breathe.<\/p>\n

“I was basically drowning. Pepe and Iris were right there, and Pepe was holding Iris. He grabbed me first, and then they passed me off to Nic.<\/p>\n

“They both just held me afloat until I could step on the ground. They were being good friends in all honesty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Huda also addressed the iconic moment where she was pictured holding onto Nic in the pool as he and Olandria were kissing.<\/p>\n

She explained: ”\u00a0I laughed so hard when the camera panned to me holding onto Nic and Olandria,\u201d she says. \u201cI’m the third wheel in every relationship.<\/p>\n

“It’s so f*cking funny, but they were all including me on their own. It’s not like I was pushing. Everyone’s like, \u2018Huda, come here. Huda, come here.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
