has been dubbed potentially the &#8220;hottest kiss&#8221; in Love Island USA&#8217;s history at this point.<\/p>\n<p>But, the morning after that moment was captured, the two confused everyone by saying they were &#8220;just friends.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>They were asked if they were &#8220;lying to themselves,&#8221; and Nicolandria came back with an answer we&#8217;ve all been waiting to hear.<\/p>\n<p>Nic said: &#8220;How pi**ed off was Nicolandria Nation?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The two apologised for &#8220;shocking&#8221; their loyal fanbase, but added: &#8220;On the inside, it was more than what we put out to be. I think we still have those strong connections&#8230; we weren&#8217;t fully ready to explore each other.<\/p>\n<p>He continued: &#8220;I think that&#8217;s why it was verbally stated that there wasn&#8217;t that romantic connection there, but as we can see from the video footage caught in 4K, it definitely was something.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When asked if it was a &#8220;defence mechanism to deny that there was something there,&#8221; Olandria said: &#8220;Agreed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Any decision I&#8217;ve ever made, I&#8217;ll always consider other people and how it would make them feel. So, that was me just being me again.
