Yes, it’s all well and good that the winners of Love Island USA<\/a> come out of the villa having found love, but more importantly $50k each in prize money.<\/p>\n

Amaya Espinal and Brya Arenales were announced as the winners of Love Island USA season seven, but what exactly have the pair decided to spend their prize money on?<\/p>\n

Speaking to Ariana Madix, Amaya revealed: “I do want to donate to a charity. I want to give back to a community – that’s one of my biggest passions. I want to make a positive impact on a group of people who are in need.”<\/p>\n

Brian explained he wanted to “invest some of it” and also help raise awareness for mental health issues in children.<\/p>\n

He added: “It is extremely important to me. I went through it when I was younger. I definitely want to help little kids face their emotions.”<\/p>\n

In the past, previous Love Island USA winners have also chosen various different things to spend their prize money on.<\/p>\n

Season six winners Kordell Beckham and Serena Page chose to invest their money, with Kordell telling Us Weekly<\/a>: “I’m gonna be investing and putting it towards the business and my career.<\/p>\n

“But as far as spending, I\u2019m not gonna spend it on anything unless she wants a little something. [Serena] might get a little something.\u201d<\/p>\n

Serena also saved her share of the money, but explained she also needed to pay co-star JaNa Craig some of it after Serena lost a bet about them winning.<\/p>\n

“I thought she was gonna win simply because I was just very unsure about how America was feeling about me and Kordell because we haven\u2019t had the easiest journey,\u201d Serena told Us Weekly.<\/p>\n

\u201cPast [Love Island] winners, they may not have gone through everything we\u2019ve gone through. It has been a lot \u2014 a little dramatic, a little crazy.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m like, who knows? They\u2019re either gonna love it or hate it, and I was just like, \u2018Maybe they hate that s**t. I don\u2019t know. I know some people did, but it is fine because the majority don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
