We’re six months into the year, but there’s been more Love Is Blind<\/a> drama than I can keep up with. From endless divorces to new relationships, there have been some major bombshells dropped in the first half of 2025.<\/p>\n

So, let’s get into all the juicy details and have a look at all the biggest Love Is Blind bombshells you need to know.<\/p>\n

The creator of the show defended season eight having a predominantly white cast<\/h2>\n

They told Entertainment Weekly<\/a>: \u201cWell, the show casts itself. We put people in the pods, and you try to have a very diverse group of people in lots of different ways [at the start]. And then the people who get engaged are the people who get engaged.<\/p>\n

During the Love Is Blind season eight reunion, AD and Ollie, who met on Perfect Match, announced their engagement and more recently revealed they’re having a baby girl together!<\/p>\n

During a podcast episode<\/a>, AD and Ollie explained exactly how the proposal happened.<\/p>\n

Ollie explained he\u2019d \u201calways envisioned\u201d proposing to AD \u201cat the beach\u201d and decided to pretend that they were filming promotional material for Perfect Match when, actually, he was planning on proposing.<\/p>\n

He admitted it was \u201chard work\u201d to plan everything without AD suspecting anything, and AD explained that she did have some suspicions that something was going on.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI get this email saying we\u2019re doing Perfect Match promo together, I\u2019m no genius, but I\u2019ve been in this industry long enough to know we shouldn\u2019t be doing anything together before the show airs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ollie added that he had to \u201cpretend\u201d he was also really surprised that they were doing promo together.<\/p>\n

\u201cApparently they were spotted in a hair salon together, and then people very close to the situation have confirmed that they are dating. They were sitting together at the reunion, but they didn\u2019t touch each other.<\/p>\n

\u201cApparently, they\u2019re just waiting for things to die to announce it. Some people have said \u2018maybe they\u2019re just friends\u2019 whilst others have said \u2018no, they\u2019re for sure dating.\u201d<\/p>\n

Apparently Joey and Sara could have been dating for almost one year since the end of filming for Love Is Blind, as they continued: \u201cApparently they\u2019ve been hanging out for a year and if I had to call it I\u2019d say they were dating but they\u2019re keeping it under wraps because Joey\u2019s getting a lot of heat right now, Sara is also getting a lot of heat right now for even continuing to entertain Ben.<\/p>\n

Love Is Blind<\/a>\u00a0season one stars Mark Cuevas and his wife, Aubrey Rainey, announced their divorce after three years of marriage.<\/p>\n

They met during the first ever season of Love Is Blind, and got married in September 2022 after welcoming two sons in April 2021 and March 2022.<\/p>\n

The announcement was made by Mark on his Instagram, in a statement that seemingly blindsided his wife.<\/p>\n

He wrote: \u201cAfter a lot of thought and conversations, Aubrey and I decided to part ways a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis wasn\u2019t an easy decision, but we both believe it\u2019s the best path forward for our individual growth and for our family.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cOur top priority will always be our boys. We\u2019re committed to coparenting with love, respect and teamwork so that they feel supported and secure every step of the way.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: As we begin this new chapter, we kindly ask for your understanding and privacy, especially for the sake of our children. We truly appreciate your support and respect during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

And while the statement was finished with both of their names, it seems it took Aubrey by surprise, as she commented under the post that the whole thing was \u201cnews to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aubrey Rainey later wrote that her \u201cworld is falling apart\u201d following the shocking news of her split from Love Is Blind husband, Mark Cuevas.<\/p>\n

Marshall spoke with AD on her podcast, and sadly explained that he had suicidal feeling following his time on the show.<\/p>\n

He told AD: “I was going to take my own life. It just got to a point where\u2026 I had always been morbidly curious\u2026 but never thought about how to do it. One day, I\u2019m just down in the dumps, just crazy depressed.<\/p>\n

He said it felt like \u201cnothing was going right\u201d in his life, detailing having \u201cdark inner voices\u201d that \u201cgot a little bit louder.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marshall explained how he went through the experience of \u201chaving no favourite movie, meal, or song\u2026\u201d at the time.<\/p>\n

He then recalled a moment when he spoke to his mother and said he felt \u201cOK\u201d with it being the last time he\u2019d talk to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI talk to my mom every day, multiple times a day, and I was OK with that being the last time\u2026 I was going to do what I felt I had to do, and I couldn\u2019t\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

In that moment, he said he had to \u201cremove himself\u201d from his environment in Seattle.<\/p>\n

Marshall went on to explain how a turning point came for him. He said it was \u201cpeak rainy season\u201d and he \u201cwalked around the Space Needle\u201d back to his apartment, and he thought to himself: \u201cI wanna live.\u201d<\/p>\n

She\u2019s said that it\u2019s \u201cokay to leave when things are not right\u201d after\u00a0months of rumours that they had split<\/a>, as she was no longer wearing her wedding ring in recent solo pics.<\/p>\n

She revealed on a June 11 episode, \u201cI\u2019ve been quiet for too long but now I\u2019m ready, but I wasn\u2019t ready for people\u2019s opinions. Now, I\u2019ve decided to file for divorce against Milton. It wasn\u2019t one thing, it was a layer of situations that just kept piling up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Milton has apparently refused to sign the divorce papers, according to Lydia, which led to her \u201cneeding to share her truth because while I\u2019ve been suffering in silence, it has been too much to keep quiet.\u201d<\/p>\n
