Chelley and Amaya literally knew each other before Love Island USA<\/a>, and they’ve openly discussed their pre-villa friendship. When Amaya came in and had eyes for Ace<\/a>, it became strange, purely because Chelley was also developing a romance with him.<\/p>\n

Chelley and Amaya knew each other before Love Island USA<\/h2>\n

Amaya and Chelley knew each other on the outside, which is just baffling, because Chelley and Ace were also in touch<\/a> earlier this year. During a conversation, Amaya told Chelley, “I thought we had a friendship… us knowing each other outside of all of this.”<\/p>\n

She mentioned it briefly after telling Chelley that “the way she went about it was messy.” They already follow each other on Instagram, and in March, Amaya posted a photo, in which Chelley liked and commented multiple heart emojis underneath.<\/p>\n

Basically, Amaya was telling Chelley that she deserves loyalty, even though she walked into the villa as a bombshell and stole her man. Ace immediately decided to recouple with Amaya, which left Chelley having to pair up with Austin in a friendship couple.<\/p>\n
