As always, the 2025 Met Gala was a star-studded affair, with the Kardashian-Jenner family making their usual glamorous appearances. However, two notable absences stood out among the sisters – Khlo\u00e9 and Kourtney Kardashian<\/a>. While Kim Kardashian, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner graced the blue carpet this year, Khlo\u00e9 and Kourtney chose to sit this one out despite previously attending the Met Gala in the past.<\/p>\n

Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/a> has never been one to seek the limelight. Despite being invited to the Met Gala in the past, she has consistently opted not to attend. In a candid moment on The Kardashians, Khlo\u00e9 once said: “I just opted not to go. I\u2019m not big on red carpets. I think I\u2019ve made that very clear.”<\/p>\n

Her sister Kim Kardashian has been supportive of Khlo\u00e9’s decisions, but she was also seen encouraging her to attend in the past.<\/p>\n

Kim said: “Khlo\u00e9 has always been really nervous to go to the Met. So I was like, ‘You\u2019re gonna look amazing. You\u2019re gonna use my glam. We\u2019re gonna get ready together. We\u2019re gonna make this the best experience ever’.”<\/p>\n

Despite her absence at this year’s Met, Khlo\u00e9 remained a supportive sister, sharing posts and stories of her family’s blue carpet moments on social media.<\/p>\n

She also wished all her followers a ‘Happy Met Monday’ on the ‘gram.<\/p>\n

By the looks of her IG Stories, Khlo\u00e9 hung out with her kids and supported her family from home!<\/p>\n

Speaking to Bustle<\/a> last year, KoKo explained how she’s more selective about what she gets up to these days:<\/p>\n

“When I first started in this industry, people would be like, ‘Here\u2019s X amount of money if you wear this sweater… And I was like, ‘You get paid to wear a sweater?!’ It was such a foreign concept to me and I was so excited. But I don\u2019t just want to promote something that I really don\u2019t stand behind. I could be doing cash grabs all day long if I didn\u2019t have a conscience. I could be on OnlyFans, I could be doing crazy things \u2014 but that\u2019s not my thing.”<\/p>\n
