The Love on the Spectrum<\/a> creator, Cian O’Clery, has finally spoken out on the future of the show. Season three was hugely popular and has become one of Netflix<\/a>‘s top 10 most-watched series since it began. Now, we’ve got some answers on whether we can expect to see a Love on the Spectrum season four, and how the creator<\/a> felt about the recent season.<\/p>\n

Love on the Spectrum creator reflects on season three<\/h2>\n

Cian has revealed that season three was hugely successful for Love on the Spectrum. He told Vanity Fair<\/a>, “We wouldn\u2019t have been able to make the show without being matchmakers because we\u2019re following so many people who haven\u2019t dated much. It\u2019s a non-scientific art. And we\u2019re not mismatching people. We\u2019re not trying to create conflict or drama. Don\u2019t ask me how so many matches happened this season. It\u2019s unbelievable.”<\/p>\n

He likes how Connor’s mother, Lise, speaks to her son and said: “There was a scene in season three with a discussion about tipping and whether tipping $5 was appropriate or not. Lise – seeing that Connor just basically didn\u2019t understand something and his frustration was building – was really great at explaining to him about how society expects things to work, but also in a way that he can process and understand.”<\/p>\n

Cian continued: “The amount of people who write in [to be on the show] is enormous, which is both encouraging for us that people trust us and think that being a part of this series is a positive thing. But also it\u2019s a real shame because it means there are so many people out there who are really wanting to find love who we can\u2019t help.”<\/p>\n

He hints at the future of Love on the Spectrum<\/h2>\n
