The US health secretary, RFK Jr, has come under huge backlash for his shocking comments about those with autism during a press conference on Wednesday.<\/a><\/p>\n

He claimed that those who have autism “will never pay taxes, they\u2019ll never hold a job, they\u2019ll never play baseball, they\u2019ll never write a poem, they\u2019ll never go on a date.”<\/p>\n

During a new roundtable interview on Sunday<\/a>, he compared autism to being worse than the COVID pandemic.<\/p>\n

He claimed: “Autism affects children and affects them at the beginning of their lives, the beginning of their productivity. It dwarfs the COVID epidemic and the impacts on our country because COVID killed old people.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cIt\u2019s absolutely debilitating for them, their families, their communities.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the cast of Love on the Spectrum<\/a> has reacted to his shocking comments about those with autism, calling RFK Jr out for his “disgusting” comments.<\/p>\n
