Deadliest Catch’s Jake Anderson was left heartbroken after finding out his best friend, Tom Brossard, had died. His wife, Jenna, called to tell him Brossard “didn’t make it” after a heart attack.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Years after helping Jake Anderson rebuild the F\/V Saga, Deadliest Catch<\/a> star Tom Brossard died in January 2024. The news was revealed to captain Anderson while filming the Discovery Channel<\/a> show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Tom Brossard dies aged 64<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tom Brossard died at the age of 64 in Calbayog, Philippines, in January 2024. The former F\/V Saga engineer, from Seattle, worked on the boat for several years, and spent most of his life on ships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An obituary<\/a> reads: “Tom loved living in the Philippines with his wife and her family, spending time with his children and grandchildren and working on the Saga. He also loved his cars – especially his Corvettes.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It continued: “It was hard work but he enjoyed working in the industry and with the boat’s crew.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
