Outlast is out with a second season! Production teams only show half the footage, according to season 1 star Jill Ashlock, while medical teams are always nearby in case of emergencies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Netflix<\/a> has brought back Outlast, where 16 survivalists brave the Alaskan wilderness on little food and water. Season 1 star Jordan was medically treated for starvation, while season 2’s Tonia was sent home<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Jill addresses scripted rumors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jill Ashlock, from season 1, has recently addressed rumors Outlast is scripted. She said it “shouldn’t be a question,” telling fans, “The fact that people even ask this question blows my mind!!!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added, “Do you all REALLY think that it is \u201creal\u201d!? When a camera is in your face and you have been hired to perform for a TV audience to ENTERTAIN the public eye\u2026 there is \u201cacting\u201d!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“That\u2019s why the same ones get hired over and over again. That\u2019s why you know their names!!! They\u2019re great at acting!!!! Reality TV is not Reality,” the former contestant added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
