Jason Oppenheim started to tear up on Selling Sunset when he told ex, Mary Fitzgerald, they “don’t have long with him,” referring to their shared dog, Niko, who they had for 18 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Selling Sunset<\/a> first hit Netflix, the two cast members introduced their pup, Niko. They were in a relationship together when they got him, but then Jason Oppenheim<\/a> and Mary Fitzgerald split up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Jason and Mary sat down with Niko, a Chihuahua, to tell his ex they “don’t have much time left with him”. He then started to cry, and hugged Mary, before telling her, “I’m sorry.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary put her hand over her mouth and cried with him. During the trailer, Chrishell Stause<\/a> is seen hugging an emotional Jason as he grieves the loss of his older dog with Mary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are also dog parents to Zelda [pictured above], who is still alive. Jason and Mary have matching tattoos of Niko’s name on their forearms, who they brought home while they were a couple years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
