He had used someone else&#8217;s urine instead of his.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the long-time engineer, who has been friends with co-captain Jack Bunnell for seven years, already knew &#8220;he&#8217;s not going to pass&#8221; the test. We&#8217;ve got to keep moving forward, we&#8217;ll find somebody.&#8221; He then instructed a deckhand to be the one to send Canyon home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His co-worker, Jack, said he &#8220;was not happy with the decision&#8221; of letting Canyon go but had to be the one to inform him he can&#8217;t join them out at sea. &#8220;It&#8217;s tough, Canyon is one of my best friends,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I might have disagreed with the decision but I also understand the decision, but the boat has to fish and make money. His friend told him, &#8220;So just please, you&#8217;re going to lose out on five grand. Canyon told him, &#8220;I got you.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Canyon then prepared to pack his bags and head home, promising he&#8217;d be there for the next crabbing season. He told him, &#8220;You come back in January.
