During an appearance on the\u00a0After Curfew podcast<\/a>, Dave shockingly revealed that he and Lauren secretly \u201chooked up\u201d straight after splitting on Love Is Blind season eight.<\/p>\n

The interviewer asked him: \u201cIn the reunion, you said that she was the one who got away. With that, she rebutalled and said \u2018If I was the one that got away, why did it take a year to reach out?\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is the reason and are there still feelings there, do you feel like there could be some type of potential to reunite?\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Joey\u2019s sister, who has spoken out on the reunion, \u201cThe DM [from Joey to Madison] wasn\u2019t news for her. She also had a boyfriend after filming which is totally fine!\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair opened up about exactly how their relationships started again outside the pods, revealing: \u201cSo, at the reunion, we said that we were just friends because we actually were at the time.<\/p>\n

Monica, Joey\u2019s ex from Love Is Blind, has just come out to say her part in the story, claiming that Sara and Joey are apparently waiting to go official until the online hate dies down.<\/p>\n

\u201cJoey recently came out to say he has no idea why\u00a0Monica has such hard feelings<\/a>\u00a0towards him, and why she randomly cut both him and his sisters off, even on a friendship basis.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Elite Daily<\/a>, \u201cI texted Sara, \u2018I\u2019m hearing a lot of things about you and Joey. Is there anything you need to tell me?\u2019 And she called me and said, \u2018Nothing\u2019s official, but we are seeing each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regardless of Dave\u2019s controversial actions on Love Is Blind, Lauren has now defended him<\/a>. She said he \u201cisn\u2019t malicious\u201d and revealed: \u201cI do think that deep down, he is a good person who was trying to do his best.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI think where he was lacking is putting his ego down, the emotional maturity, being able to be fully ready for an actual mature romantic relationship. I do think that there was love there\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

However, it \u201cwasn\u2019t enough\u201d to commit to Lauren. \u201cI could tell that he was genuinely struggling with how to tackle all of this information. I don\u2019t think he loved me enough to put me above the ego,\u201d Lauren continued.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0Elite Daily<\/a>, Madison opened up about her sexuality journey in the Love Is Blind season eight pods as well as the importance of being bisexual is to her.<\/p>\n

She’s has previously opened up about matching with another one of her female Love Is Blind co-stars before the show started filming<\/a>, and explained why she didn\u2019t go into the show wanting to connect with a woman.<\/p>\n

She revealed: \u201cI went into the show knowing I just wanted to find friends among the girls, because I didn\u2019t want to disrupt the experiment.<\/p>\n

\u201cI put anything else out of my mind and figured that whatever happened after the show happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

Madison also addressed the rumours that she and Molly secretly have something going on, clarifying: \u201cMolly and I are also besties. It\u2019d be like dating my sister.\u201d<\/p>\n

She revealed having a \u201cbrief\u201d relationship while speaking in an exclusive clip from Amanda Hirsch\u2019s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast via\u00a0Us Weekly<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sara said she and Scott \u201cconnected in the pods.\u201d The two then had to break the news to Dave after \u201cexploring it a little bit on our own first.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cIt wasn\u2019t the most fun thing to deal with\u2026 because he and Dave are friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Scott apparently \u201creached out to Dave,\u201d who gave the relationship the green light initially.<\/p>\n

But, Sara added: \u201cI think there were some other comments to other people about how it might have been too soon for me\u2026 We broke up six months ago and it\u2019s not like you and I have been chatting or anything. I didn\u2019t feel like there was anything wrong with that.\u201d<\/p>\n
