During an Instagram Q&amp;A, he allowed people who watched the show to finally get some answers to their baffling questions over his actions, and falling in love was apparently a huge reason behind how he acted towards Lauren.<\/p>\n<h2>Dave claps back at &#8216;suspicious behaviour&#8217; theories on Love Is Blind<\/h2>\n<p>When people questioned Dave on one of his &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/2025\/02\/24\/this-truly-cursed-item-in-daves-room-proves-hes-the-biggest-ick-on-love-is-blind\/\">many red flags<\/a>,&#8221; a big marker was how quickly he seemed to develop feelings for Lauren. He&#8217;s now finally addressed those opinions, with him talking specifically about the scene where he told Lauren in the pods, &#8220;Like, I literally think I am falling in love with you. And that freaks the s*** out of me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He wrote on his Instagram Story on March 19, &#8220;Saw this on my feed and want to say something &#8211; this was never about me being &#8220;sus&#8221; or anything like that. I didn&#8217;t think this experiment would work for me. Next thing I knew I was falling for someone through a damn wall. This was just me being honest!!! It was scary as hell.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Other red flags that people noticed was his tendency to <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/2025\/03\/10\/dave-finally-reveals-his-sisters-unexpected-reaction-to-love-is-blind-that-we-never-got-to-see\/\">speak about his sister<\/a> a lot, as well as how uncomfortable he was about Lauren being <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/2025\/03\/14\/laurens-ex-breaks-his-silence-with-receipts-after-she-claims-he-applied-for-love-is-blind\/\">intimate with a mutual friend<\/a> in Minneapolis before the show. However, he&#8217;s now finally addressed that he developed strong feelings for Lauren, who he <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/2025\/03\/10\/love-is-blinds-dave-calls-out-laurens-ex-for-psychotic-behaviour-and-hes-really-angry\/\">hasn&#8217;t totally ruled off rekindling<\/a> with.<\/p>\n<h2>Even Lauren&#8217;s ex says Dave is a &#8216;good guy&#8217;<\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" ><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/LoveIsBlindNetflix\/comments\/1jecegh\/dave_clearing_up_one_of_his_many_red_flag_moments\/\">Dave clearing up one of his MANY red flag moments<\/a><br \/> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/Plane-Cloud-5837\/\">u\/Plane-Cloud-5837<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/LoveIsBlindNetflix\/\">LoveIsBlindNetflix<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Daniel Nides, Lauren&#8217;s ex who she had a brief romance with before the show, has come out to say both her and Dave are &#8220;good people&#8221;. And that&#8217;s with Dave claiming her ex has shown &#8220;psychotic&#8221; behaviour. Plus, Dave has never had a partner before, or ever been in love, so it makes sense that people are now starting to understand his on-screen behaviour.<\/p>\n<p>However, one person said: &#8220;He didn\u2019t think it would work because he (subconsciously) didn\u2019t want it to. He did everything he could to sabotage it.&#8221; Dave admitted himself how he was testing Lauren on the show, but people are saying this sudden move of addressing him falling in love quickly was the &#8220;least problematic thing he said&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For all the latest reality TV cast member news, scandals, gossip and updates &#8211;
