The hugely anticipated season 20 finally airs Tuesday nights at 8 pm. As many familiar faces return to the show, some fans may notice that some long-standing elements of the TV show have disappeared &#8211; namely the F\/V Saga.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/tag\/deadliest-catch\">Deadliest Catch<\/a> welcomes big names in the crab fishing game back to the <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/tag\/discovery-channel\">Discovery Channel<\/a> this summer. Sig Hansen, Jake Anderson, Steve &#8216;Harley&#8217; Davidson, &#8216;Wild&#8217; Bill Wichrowski, and more familiar faces are set to appear in season 20. Equally famous as their human captains and crew, the Deadliest Catch vessels are also making a return, apart from three that have been dropped since last season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Jake Anderson And The Saga Strike Lucky! | Deadliest Catch\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vJpCqeXJPZA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-deadliest-catch-season-20-where-is-the-f-v-saga\">Deadliest Catch season 20: Where is the F\/V Saga?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Any Deadliest Catch viewers tuning in to season 20 this June may notice the disappearance of the one show&#8217;s many famous fishing vessels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The F\/V Saga has appeared on Deadliest Catch since the show&#8217;s pilot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given that the Discovery Channel show kicked off in 2005, that&#8217;s a seriously long-running F\/V.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>OMG:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/shows\/deadliest-catchs-fake-scenes-explain-why-loyal-fans-are-still-watching\">Deadliest Catch\u2019s \u2018fake scenes\u2019 explain why loyal fans are still watching<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it seems the Saga&#8217;s time on the show has come to an end as Jake Anderson, Sophia &#8216;Bob&#8217; Nielsen, and Sean Dwyer are no longer appearing as its crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reddit users take to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/deadliestcatch\/comments\/1arnfow\/the_listing_of_fv_saga\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">thread<\/a> to share their thoughts on a <a href=\"https:\/\/dockstreetbrokers.com\/vessels\/cr24-006\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">listing<\/a> of a boat that looks just like the Saga on Dock Street Brokers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With lots of fans concluding the boat in the images is the Saga up for sale, they write how &#8220;sad&#8221; they feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One said the news &#8220;sucked&#8221; while more wrote: &#8220;That&#8217;s really sad.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other people asked what it means for the fate of the boat&#8217;s former captain: &#8220;I wonder what this means for Jake?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/OriginalProds\/status\/1799848937492287793\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-deadliest-catch-s-jake-and-sophia-have-moved-on\">Deadliest Catch&#8217;s Jake and Sophia have moved on<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As Deadliest Catch returns for season 20, some changes have been made to the crews and their fishing vessels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sig Hansen exclusively <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/deadliest-catch-season-20-captain-sig-hansen-teases-whats-to-come-exclusive-8657624\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tells<\/a> People how he experiences a &#8220;first&#8221; in his career after many years on the Bering Sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;s joined on his boat, F\/V Northwestern, <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/shows\/jake-anderson-grappled-with-addiction-and-homelessness-without-deadliest-catch-i-wouldnt-have-made-it\">by Jake Anderson<\/a> this series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jake also appears on the show on another boat, F\/V Titan Explorer, during season 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though Sophia is no longer on the Saga or the Victory this season, she&#8217;s still a cast member on the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She&#8217;s appearing alongside Greg Wallace on the F\/V Seabrooke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This season also sees Johnathan Hillstrand coming out of retirement on the F\/V Time Bandit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>RIP:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/shows\/doomed-deadliest-catch-ship-took-three-lives-after-it-capsized-in-notoriosly-violent-waters\">\u2018Doomed\u2019 ship took three lives after it capsized in \u2018notoriously violent\u2019 waters<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>WATCH DEADLIEST CATCH TUESDAYS AT 8 PM ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s safe to say fans are super excited to see Deadliest Catch back on their screens this June.
