Former Made in Chelsea star, Louise Thompson, has spoken out on how she “thought she was dying” while she underwent a C-section. She describes the day her son was born as the “best and worst”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louise Thompson<\/a> wishes she had been put to sleep before she welcomed her son, Leo, into the world. She was awake for three hours on an operating table while doctors worked to give her a C-section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Louise was ‘poster girl’ for home birth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Louise recalls how she was the “poster girl” for home birth, which she was repeatedly offered as she was “low risk”, despite having never considered welcoming her child anywhere but the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She “worked out five times a day” and had featured on the cover of Women’s Health, but her health took a turn on November 15, 2021, when Louise gave birth to her son, Leo, now two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I call it the best and worst day of my life. There were a lot of things that went wrong. I wanted to have a C-section because I think you know your body,” Louise said<\/a> on Great Company with Jamie Laing podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
