From the moment I saw the Love Is Blind<\/a> reunion pictures with Joey<\/a> and his longboard, I was intrigued about his accessory, and even more so when he quite literally skateboarded down the aisle into his wedding.<\/p>\n

It seems a lot of people were a bit confused about why exactly he chose to glide into his wedding, with some people even claiming it wasn’t respectful to do so in a church.<\/p>\n

However, Joey has now responded to the various questions and backlash regarding his choice of transportation for his Love Is Blind wedding and revealed why he even had a longboard there in the first place.<\/p>\n

Someone in his commented on Instagram wrote: “Long boarding down the aisle was actual INSANITY especially when you were planning on saying no.”<\/p>\n

He responded: “I can actually explain this for you. The longboard is important to me as it was a major stress relief during hard times with my sister and parents’ divorce. It represents growth and accomplishments and is very calming for me.<\/p>\n

“I have always wanted to do this on my wedding day and find a partner who loves and understands the significance.”<\/p>\n

Well, there we go, and whilst a fairly unconventional way of entering your wedding, it’s clear it represents a lot to him and was important for him to have at both the wedding and in his reunion pictures.<\/p>\n
