But somehow, things haven&#8217;t felt the same since the famous family&#8217;s show moved to Hulu in a new format called The Kardashians, and there&#8217;s one person I truly miss: Jonathan Cheban, AKA Food God.<\/p>\n<h2>Jonathan Cheban and Kim Kardashian were BFFs<\/h2>\n<p>For the entirety of KUWTK, Jonathan and Kim were always together. He featured in loads of the original episodes, but for some reason, they haven&#8217;t been pictured together as much in recent years. Some believe Jonathan&#8217;s association with people critical of Kim, like <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/2025\/01\/10\/bethenny-frankel-shares-what-shes-doing-to-help-during-the-us-fires-and-its-amazing\/\">Bethenny Frankel<\/a>, might have caused tension between the two of them.<\/p>\n<p>People speculated that he might have leaked private information about the Kardashian family, which was never confirmed. &#8220;My friends and I have a conspiracy theory that he was always the leak. And they finally cut ties,&#8221; one commenter wrote. Another added, &#8220;He leaked everything!!! That&#8217;s why we haven&#8217;t heard anything on the Kardashians recently\u2014they got all the rats out.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>At one point though, the two were always spotted together for more than 15 years, which was a result of Jonathan randomly sitting next to Kim by accident while he was out at Casa Vega with a group of friends. He confirmed just three months ago that they &#8220;constantly speak&#8221; but that he&#8217;s usually busy travelling, meaning they don&#8217;t spend as much time together as they used to. He still gets invited to all the Kardashians glamorous family events, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/2025\/02\/25\/wait-what-exactly-is-a-lavender-marriage-khloe-kardashian-hinted-shed-have-one\/\">Khloe Kardashian<\/a>&#8216;s wild 40th birthday party.<\/p>\n<p>They were spotted in public at an event in 2022, and more recently, Jonathan bumped into Kim&#8217;s ex, <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/2025\/02\/15\/pete-davidson-and-kim-kardashian-have-reunited-on-snl-but-why-did-they-split\/\">Pete Davidson<\/a>, and seemed super friendly with him. It&#8217;s likely they met when Kim was in a relationship with Pete for a few months. Their friendship became a popular topic again in 2023, when they were reunited in public, and then again in August 2024, confirming they&#8217;re still super pally.<\/p>\n<p><i><span
