Joey appeared on the Jason Show to explain exactly how he initially got scouted for Love Is Blind, revealing: “They actually called me, and I denied them twice because I was kind of seeing someone at the time at that point, so I was like ‘nah it’s not going to work.’ That relationship didn’t work out, and the third time was a charm.<\/p>\n
“My sisters were actually a big part of it because they were like, ‘Joey you’ve got to this,’ and I was like ‘I don’t know, I don’t know,’ and they’re like, ‘you have the personality for this, you will have fun.'” And so I was like, ‘alright, I’ll give it a shot,’ and I reached back out to him and here I am.”<\/p>\n
