The family of Haylna Hutchins have called out Alec Baldwin’s new reality TV show for being “shameless” after the actor opened up about his PTSD following the incident on the set of Rust.<\/p>\n

During the episode, Hilaria said: “Everyone who is close to Alec has seen his mental health decline. He was diagnosed with PTSD and he says, in his darkest moments, \u2018If an accident had to have happened on this day, why am I still here? Why couldn\u2019t it be me?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to Alec, she continued: “You wake up in the morning and you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh God, why did I have to wake up?\u2019 You\u2019re so dark and it\u2019s so painful.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a statement to The Independent<\/a>, Haylna Hutchins’ family questioned why Alec Baldwin is allegedly “claiming” to have PTSD.<\/p>\n

The statement said: “The Baldwin reality show at once celebrates Mr Baldwin\u2019s joy of being with his children while ignoring the fact that Alec Baldwin took a child away from her parents. That is the painful and actual reality with which Halyna\u2019s parents and sister live each and every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

They added: \u201cIt is long overdue for Alec Baldwin to admit and face the real-life consequences that he caused Halyna\u2019s parents and sister. It is time for him to face reality under oath.\u201d<\/p>\n
