Litia from The Bachelor<\/a> is winning Grant Ellis’ heart, and the time finally came for him to meet her family. She feared their reactions because Grant would be the first man who doesn’t follow the Mormon religion that Litia would be bringing home, which led to a load of interest from viewers about her life back at home.<\/p>\n

Litia lost her dad at a very young age<\/h2>\n

Litia sadly lost her dad when she was only three months old. He was in a car accident. Litia said on The Bachelor: “Even though he’s gone, I still feel his love,” adding how she wants to have a big family of her own. Some people thought she was adopted as they thought she didn’t look like her parents on the Hometowns episode, but her mother is her biological parent.<\/p>\n

Her parents met while they were both in college at Hawaii. “My mom is from Idaho. She\u2019s white and my dad is from Fiji. They fell in love and they got married and they had me,” Litia explained to Grant in episode three. Her mother was only 23 when Litia’s father died. Litia said: “My mom is my greatest example of strength and resilience because I can\u2019t imagine losing my husband and having a little baby at that time.”<\/p>\n

\u201cMy grandparents and my mom\u2019s siblings, like my aunts and uncles, made me feel so loved and so special,\u201d Litia said. \u201cI just feel, like, really lucky to have my support system.\u201d We got to meet her Grandpa on the show, and my god is he the sweetest grandparent the show has quite literally ever had!<\/p>\n
