Speaking to cameras, Charles explains how he rarely gets out of bed, and has his meals prepared by his sister. He lives &#8220;for free&#8221; with his siblings who feel it&#8217;s their responsibility to look after him.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charles&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/tag\/my-600-lb-life\">My 600-lb Life<\/a> episode kicks off by showing viewers his everyday life. A breakfast of five eggs with cheese, biscuits, and seven sausages is on the menu before he meets Dr Now. Despite making progress with his weight loss on the <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/tag\/tlc\">TLC<\/a> show, Charles ends up infuriating viewers who say his episode was a &#8220;waste of time&#8221; much <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/shows\/my-600-lb-lifes-shakyia-ghosted-dr-now-but-finds-peace-outside-the-show\">like Shakyia&#8217;s episode<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-my-600-lb-life-s-charles-bridgeman\">My 600-lb Life&#8217;s Charles Bridgeman<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During April 17&#8217;s My 600-lb episode, fans meet a new patient of Dr Now&#8217;s &#8211; Charles Bridgeman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charles battled with addiction in his past. After kicking his drug addiction, he unfortunately replaced it with food until his weight got out of control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He turns to Dr Now for help losing weight but hits roadblocks along the way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>OMG:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/shows\/my-600-lb-lifes-rose-perrine-who-almost-ate-herself-to-death-turns-entire-life-around\">My 600-lb Life\u2019s Rose Perrine who almost ate herself \u2018to death\u2019 turns entire life around<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-charles-faces-his-fears\">Charles faces his fears<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before Charles meets Dr Now on My 600-lb Life, fans see him struggling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He faces his &#8220;worst fear&#8221; by boarding a plane to Houston, and says: &#8220;I knew this wasn&#8217;t going to be easy, but now I&#8217;m starting to see the reality of it.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charles felt &#8220;everyone was staring&#8221; at him and said he was totally out of his comfort zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said: &#8220;I can feel my breath starting to get shorter, how am I even going to fit in my seat?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Losing confidence in himself, Charles added how his &#8220;knees were exploding with pain&#8221; and said: &#8220;I have no choice but to hold out, because if Dr Now can&#8217;t help me, I&#8217;m going to die anyway.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-facebook wp-block-embed-facebook\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.facebook.com\/charles.bridgeman.165\/posts\/pfbid0hZwr2ApbCs41QWt1ZEdmjWb2rPxeWEVZdQCoMND7U4Dhx6y3tdtG4gWZrudDE839l\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-he-s-still-losing-weight-0\">He&#8217;s still losing weight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>TLC viewers see tensions flare when Charles and Dr Now catch up via video call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the episode, Dr Now has some stern words for his patient who decides to close the laptop while his doctor is still speaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charles says he&#8217;s &#8220;about to blow up&#8221; as Dr Now breaks down his excuses for not showing up to his clinic appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although he lost enough weight to get approved for surgery, Charles opted out of the procedure.
